Sonos Ace headphones drop to $279 in black

Sonos Ace wireless headphones in black are on sale for $279, down from their usual $399 price, The Verge reported. The discount cuts $120 from Sonos’ first wireless headphones and puts the same price at Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and Sonos.
The deal centers on the black version of the over-ear headphones, according to The Verge. The sale price amounts to 30% off the regular listing cited by the publication.
What buyers get with Sonos Ace
The Verge described the Sonos Ace as comfortable headphones with a premium build, active noise cancellation and compatibility with Sonos Arc and other Sonos soundbars. In its review, The Verge said the headphones offer a wide soundstage and a balanced sound profile that is less bass-heavy than some rivals from the same period, including Sony’s WH-1000XM5.
The Verge also said the Ace’s noise cancellation ranks among the strongest it has tested, with a transparency mode it also rated highly. Battery life runs up to 30 hours on one charge, according to the publication.
For people using a Sonos soundbar, the Ace can take over TV audio with one button press, The Verge reported, citing Sonos’ TV Audio Swap feature. The headphones then support spatial audio with head tracking for movies, TV shows and games.
The Ace also support multipoint Bluetooth pairing, according to The Verge. Codec support includes aptX Lossless and AAC, depending on the connected mobile device, and the headphones can play lossless audio when connected over USB-C.
Other discounts listed
The Verge also highlighted a Best Buy promotion for DoorDash DashPass members. The publication said DashPass subscribers can get $30 off eligible Best Buy purchases of $100 or more through the DoorDash app, with the offer available through July 15.
Green Man Gaming is selling a seven-game Lego bundle for $9, according to The Verge. The bundle includes Steam keys for Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Galactic Edition, Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Deluxe Edition, The Lego Movie Videogame, The Lego Movie 2 Videogame, The Lego Ninjago Movie Videogame, Lego The Incredibles and Lego Jurassic World with three DLC packs.
The Verge said the lowest Steam price it has seen for Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Galactic Edition alone is $13.99, making the bundle cheaper than that one title’s prior low. The publication framed the package as a strong offer for Lego and Star Wars fans.
Amazon is also selling the Apple Watch Ultra 3 for $699.99, down from $799.99, The Verge reported. The watch includes GPS, 5G cellular service, emergency services via satellite, and the health and fitness tracking features found on other Apple Watch models, according to the publication.
