Amazon has added Prime Video Luna games through a new Games tab on Fire TV devices, giving Prime Video users in the US and UK a direct path into its cloud gaming service. The move matters because Amazon is putting games in front of people who already use Prime Video for movies, shows and sports, rather than treating Luna as a separate destination.
Amazon said the tab lets users open Luna from inside Prime Video and start playing supported titles. The company listed Dispatch, Fallout 4, Hogwarts Legacy, EA Sports FC 26 and Clue among the games available through the integration.
Luna was already part of Prime, according to The Verge. The new placement changes where subscribers encounter it: inside the Prime Video app on Fire TV, alongside the entertainment service they may already be using.
What games are on Prime Video Luna?
Amazon said the Prime Video Games tab includes Luna access to games such as Dispatch, Fallout 4, Hogwarts Legacy, EA Sports FC 26 and Clue. The company said it will share more information later about additional devices, countries and games.
Luna is Amazon’s cloud gaming platform. In this setup, the Games tab serves as a doorway from Prime Video into Luna, so users can begin playing without leaving the Prime Video experience on Fire TV.
Why Amazon is putting games inside Prime Video
The launch follows a broader reorganization of Amazon’s gaming efforts. The Verge reported that Prime Gaming, Amazon Game Studios and Luna have been brought together under one organization.
Amazon gaming executive Jeff Gattis previously discussed the strategy with The Verge, which described the company’s focus as reaching a more casual audience already spending time in Prime Video. That approach differs from trying to compete directly for players centered on MMOs and shooters, The Verge reported.
Gattis also told The Hollywood Reporter that Amazon has not yet established itself as a gaming platform. In that interview, he pointed to Amazon-controlled properties such as Tomb Raider and James Bond as important to the company’s gaming plans.
The Games tab also gives Amazon a place to promote games connected to its own video programming, according to The Verge. Examples include Masters of the Universe: Legends Unite, a co-op card battler, and Courtroom Chaos: Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, which Amazon has described as an AI-powered party game tied to a coming holiday movie featuring Schwarzenegger.
The Verge compared the move to Netflix’s recent push into TV-playable streaming games. For Amazon, the immediate change is narrower: Prime Video users on Fire TV in the US and UK now have a games section that links directly into Luna.
