Prime Day cuts prices on smart-home gear across major brands
The Verge identified Prime Day price cuts across Wi-Fi routers, video doorbells, smart locks, robot vacuums and lighting from eero, Ring, Nest, Aqara and Philips Hue.

Retailers have marked down smart-home hardware for Prime Day, with discounts appearing on Amazon and elsewhere, according to The Verge’s Jennifer Pattison Tuohy. The Verge said it reviewed hundreds of offers and focused on connected-home products with stronger price cuts and solid performance.
The publication said Wi-Fi gear is a key starting point for smart-home upgrades. It highlighted deals on routers, doorbells, locks, robot vacuums, fans and smart lighting from brands including eero, Google Nest, Ring, Aqara, Level, Narwal, Dreame, SwitchBot, Govee and Philips Hue.
Routers and doorbells
Amazon’s eero mesh routers are discounted, The Verge reported. The eero Pro 7 is listed at $549.99, down from $699.99, while a three-pack of the eero Pro 6E is priced at $329.
The Verge also pointed to the Google Nest Wifi Pro three-pack at $250, down from $400. According to the publication, the system supports Wi-Fi 6E, Matter and Thread, which may appeal to people already using Google smart-home products.
For video doorbells, The Verge listed the Ecobee Smart Doorbell Camera at $118 on Amazon and $130 through Ecobee. The publication said the wired doorbell includes free person detection, works with major smart-home platforms and can serve as a video intercom when paired with an Ecobee thermostat.
Ring’s current 2K doorbells are half off, according to The Verge, with the Ring Wired 2K at $39.99 and the Ring Battery 2K at $49.99. The Verge said Ring’s Pro 4K model is also discounted to $179.99, and noted that Ring’s AI features and recorded video viewing require a subscription.
Google’s Nest Wired 2K video doorbell is $138.99, down from $179.99, The Verge reported. The publication said Google includes free 10-second clips, while its Gemini-powered video tools are tied to the Google Home Premium subscription.
Locks and cleaning devices
The Verge listed the Level Lock Pro at $295, down from $349. According to the publication, the lock keeps a low-profile design while adding an upgraded processor, a built-in door sensor, Matter-over-Thread support and Apple Home Key compatibility.
Aqara’s Smart Lock U400 is priced at $219, down from $270, The Verge reported. The publication described it as the only smart lock that works with Apple Home’s hands-free Home Key feature and said it also offers fingerprint entry, a keypad, a keyway and tap-to-unlock support for iPhones and Samsung Galaxy phones through Aliro.
Robot vacuum deals include the Narwal Flow 2 at $1,050, down from $1,500, according to The Verge. The Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2 is listed at $499.99, down from $800, and The Verge said the model includes features such as detachable spinning mop pads, camera-based obstacle detection and a dock with hot-water washing and hot-air drying.
The SwitchBot Standing Circulator Fan is down to $90 from $130, The Verge reported. The publication said the fan can run on battery power or stay plugged in, works as a tabletop or standing fan, and supports smart controls through SwitchBot’s app or connected smart-home platforms.
Lighting deals
Philips Hue’s Twilight sleep-wake lamp is listed at $240 through Philips Hue and $261 at Amazon, according to The Verge. The publication said the lamp uses full-color gradient LEDs for sunrise and sunset scenes and can also control other Hue lights and smart devices.
The Verge also listed Govee’s Smart Outdoor S14 Bulb String Lights 2 at $69.99, a 41 percent discount at Amazon. Hue’s Festavia Permanent Outdoor String Lights are 50 percent off at $283 for the 150-foot model, according to the publication.
