The Nanoleaf Blocks Combo XL sale has dropped the company’s wall-mounted lighting and storage bundle to $99.99. Nanoleaf lists the Blocks Combo XL Smarter Kit with a crossed-out $249.99 price, making the current deal a new low for the package.
The kit is aimed at people who want smart lighting that also adds a small amount of usable wall storage. Nanoleaf says the bundle combines color-changing LED panels with a slim shelf and a pegboard, giving it a practical role on a desk wall, dorm wall or apartment setup.
What comes with the Nanoleaf Blocks Combo XL kit?
Nanoleaf says the Blocks Combo XL Smarter Kit includes nine color-changing LED panels. The set uses both large and small modular panels, which can be arranged in different layouts and expanded later with additional blocks.
The storage pieces are designed for light everyday items. According to Nanoleaf, the shelf can hold up to 6.6 pounds, while the pegboard can hold up to 3.3 pounds. The company shows the kit as useful for items such as headphones, game controllers, notebooks, a tablet, a small plant or a few books.
The panels are designed to glow across their full surface and can be reconfigured to suit a room. That modular approach is the main distinction from a fixed lamp or light strip: buyers can change the look of the wall installation rather than keeping one permanent shape.
How the lighting controls work
Nanoleaf says the panels support custom lighting scenes through its app. A Paint Tool feature lets users choose where individual colors appear across the layout, while AI Magic Scenes can create palettes from a word or phrase entered by the user.
The app also includes community-created lighting designs, according to Nanoleaf. Those scenes give users preset options if they do not want to build a color layout from scratch.
The kit can be controlled over Wi-Fi through the Nanoleaf app, and Nanoleaf says it also works with voice assistants including Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. A physical controller is included for users who prefer not to use a phone for basic control.
What can the lights sync with?
Nanoleaf says the Blocks panels can mirror on-screen visuals and sync lighting effects with music. That makes the kit more than decorative backlighting for people using it near a monitor, TV or speaker setup.
The Blocks kit can also work alongside other Nanoleaf lights, according to the company. That allows users who already own Nanoleaf products to extend lighting effects across more of a room.
At $99.99, the current Nanoleaf deal puts the Combo XL Smarter Kit well below the crossed-out price shown on Nanoleaf’s store page. The sale applies through Nanoleaf’s own online shop.
