Hoto’s 3.6V Electric Screwdriver Kit Pro is selling for $28.49 during Amazon’s Prime Day sale, according to The Verge. The discount puts a compact repair tool close to its lowest reported price, making it a cheaper option for buyers who want an electric screwdriver for light household work.
The Verge’s Sheena Vasani reported that the sale price is $21.50 below the kit’s usual price and about $5 above its all-time low. The Verge listed the deal at Amazon and also linked to Walmart; its product card showed the Amazon price at $28 and Walmart at $40.
What comes in the kit
The Hoto kit includes 25 interchangeable steel bits and an extension bar, according to The Verge. The set is aimed at smaller jobs such as assembling furniture, repairing small appliances, working on bikes and scooters, and handling basic tasks around the home.
The Verge described the screwdriver as smaller and lighter than a full-size power drill, which makes it easier to store in a drawer or car trunk. The publication said it still has enough power for common household projects.
Battery and controls
The screwdriver has three torque settings, according to The Verge. That lets users apply less force for electronics and more force for furniture assembly or other jobs that need extra turning power.
The kit uses a rechargeable 1,500mAh battery and charges over USB-C, The Verge reported. The publication said the battery can handle dozens of small projects on one charge.
Hoto also built an LED light into the tool, according to The Verge. That feature is meant to help when working in darker areas, including behind a TV stand or under a desk.
Prime Day context
The deal was included in The Verge’s guide to Amazon Prime Day 2026. The publication said the screwdriver is one of the products it recommends for people moving into a new place or working through a list of small repairs.
As with other limited retail promotions, prices and availability can change. The reported Prime Day price gives buyers a lower-cost entry point for a rechargeable screwdriver kit with a broad bit selection, adjustable torque and USB-C charging.
