Godox’s ES45 Desktop LED Key Light is selling for $119, a $20 discount, at Amazon and B&H Photo, according to The Verge. The deal puts a streamer-focused lighting kit below its usual price for the first time this year, The Verge reports.
The Verge says the ES45 is positioned as a lower-cost alternative to Elgato’s $180 Key Light while offering nearly comparable brightness. The Godox model includes adjustable brightness and color temperature controls, with a range from warm 2,800K light to a cooler daylight-style setting, according to The Verge.
The light is meant for streamers and other users who want better on-camera lighting, The Verge reports. It can be aimed directly at a subject or pointed at a wall to create softer bias lighting in a room, according to the outlet.
The Verge notes one feature that separates the ES45 from Elgato’s Key Light: an included 2.4GHz wireless remote. The remote can adjust the light without using desktop or mobile apps and recharges when magnetically attached back to the light, according to The Verge.
The ES45 kit also includes a desk clamp that installs without tools, The Verge reports. The clamp can attach to desks up to two inches thick, according to the outlet.

The Verge also highlighted a sale on Govee’s Outdoor Smart Wall Light, which is listed at $54.99, or $45 off, at Best Buy. The IP65-rated light is built for outdoor areas such as patios and can provide up to 1,500 lumens of warm or cool white light, according to The Verge.
The Govee light can show three colors at the same time and supports Matter, The Verge reports. That support allows control through compatible smart home systems including Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, while the Govee app offers more than 45 preset scene modes and custom lighting effects, according to the outlet.
The Insta360 X5 action camera is also down to $434.99, a $115 discount, at Amazon, B&H Photo and Insta360’s own store, according to The Verge. The outlet describes that as a new low price for the 360-degree camera.
The Insta360 X5 can record 8K video at 30 frames per second, 5.7K video at 60 frames per second, or 4K video at up to 120 frames per second, The Verge reports. The camera also supports user-replaceable lenses through an optional replacement kit sold by Insta360 and Amazon, according to the outlet.
For readers looking beyond gadgets, The Verge says a box set containing The Hobbit and all three The Lord of the Rings volumes is available for $24.92 at Amazon, a $51 discount. The set includes pocket-sized books in a leatherette box and is $7 above its all-time low price, according to The Verge.
