DJI Mic 3 two-transmitter kit gets its first discount to $219

DJI’s Mic 3 two-transmitter bundle has dropped to $219 in its first reported price cut, giving mobile video creators a lower entry point for a wireless audio kit. The Verge reported that the package usually sells for $259 and is now discounted at Amazon, Best Buy and B&H Photo.
The deal applies to the kit with two microphones, one receiver, a charging case, power and audio cables, and four windscreens for outdoor recording. The receiver connects to a phone or camera, allowing creators to capture audio from one or two speakers without relying on a device’s built-in microphone.
The Verge framed the Mic 3 as a strong option for people who shoot video on smartphones, where camera quality can outpace audio quality. A wireless lavalier-style setup can improve speech recording for solo videos, interviews or scenes with multiple people speaking.

The receiver also has a built-in screen for checking battery levels and connection status. DJI includes magnetic clips, which The Verge said can be used to attach the transmitters to clothing or hats.
Audio and battery features
The microphones include two levels of noise reduction for recordings made in less controlled environments, according to The Verge. The system also offers active gain control, which is designed to handle sudden loud sounds while recording.
Battery life is rated at about eight hours for each microphone on a single charge, while the receiver lasts about 10 hours, The Verge reported. The charging case can provide at least two full recharges for the set.
