How did ECDMA say it judged the awards?

Under the process outlined for the ECDMA Global Awards 2026 program, entries first underwent checks for eligibility, completeness and supporting evidence. Qualified nominations were then assigned to several jurors for independent scoring, ECDMA said.

The association said a winning entry had to score at least 80 out of 100 overall and average at least 8 out of 10 on its category’s main criterion. A category could be left without a winner if entries missed either threshold.

ECDMA said individual categories carried no entry fee worldwide, allowing people to be nominated without employer sponsorship or an awards budget. Organizational categories had an administrative fee. The awards site describes the jury as practitioners in e-commerce, digital marketing and related fields who score entries independently against published criteria.
