The Mad Barn Royal Fair partnership has been renewed through 2028, extending the equine-nutrition company’s presence at Toronto’s annual agricultural and equestrian event. The agreement keeps its title sponsorships of two Royal Horse Show competitions and adds a dressage final and a supporting role with the rodeo.
The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair announced the agreement on Oct. 29. Financial terms, exclusivity provisions and other commercial details were not disclosed.
What will Mad Barn sponsor at the Royal Horse Show?
Mad Barn will remain title sponsor of the Indoor Eventing Challenge and the Big Ben Challenge. It will also become title sponsor of the CDI-W Freestyle Final, bringing its sponsorships within the Horse Show to eventing, show jumping and dressage.
- The Indoor Eventing Challenge is scheduled for Nov. 6 and 7.
- The CDI-W Freestyle Final is scheduled for Nov. 10.
- The Big Ben Challenge is scheduled for Nov. 12.
The new arrangement also makes Mad Barn a supporting partner of The Royal Rodeo. That designation is separate from its title-sponsor roles for the three Horse Show competitions.
The renewal expands a Canadian sports-and-agriculture partnership across competition programming and attendee services. The Royal Horse Show sponsorship program now gives Mad Barn roles in four parts of the fair’s equestrian schedule: eventing, show jumping, dressage and rodeo.
Mad Barn will continue to operate the Mad Barn Nutrition Centre in the Equestrian Zone. According to the announcement, the centre will offer nutrition education and complimentary diet evaluations for competitors and attendees.
The 2026 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is scheduled for Nov. 6 through 15 at Exhibition Place in Toronto. The fair’s announcement describes Mad Barn as a Canadian equine-nutrition company that provides supplements, nutritional resources and feeding support; those descriptions were not accompanied by financial or operational details about the renewed arrangement.
Cyrus Cooper, chief executive of The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, said the organization valued Mad Barn’s continued commitment. Mad Barn chief executive Scott Cieslar said the added dressage and rodeo roles would broaden the company’s reach across equestrian disciplines.
