Govee has cut prices on several color-changing smart lamps for Prime Day, giving shoppers a cheaper route into app-controlled lighting than premium systems such as Philips Hue. The Verge’s Sheena Vasani reported that four Govee models are part of the sale, including table lamps, a slim floor lamp and a more elaborate uplighter.

According to Vasani, the discounted lineup includes the Govee Table Lamp 2, Floor Lamp Basic, Table Lamp Classic and Uplighter Floor Lamp. She reported the Table Lamp 2 at $53.99, reduced from $79.99, while a Verge price card also showed the lamp at $64 through Govee.

The Floor Lamp Basic is listed at $59.99, down from its regular $99.99 price, according to The Verge. The portable Table Lamp Classic is $55.99, reduced from $79.99, and the Uplighter Floor Lamp is $125.99, down from $179.99, Vasani reported.

What the lamps can do

The Verge reports that the lamps share a similar feature set despite their different shapes and sizes. Each model supports a wide range of colors, adjustable white lighting, built-in scene modes and music-reactive lighting.

Vasani reported that Govee’s app lets users build their own scenes, set schedules and create automations. The lamps can also be controlled by voice through Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, according to The Verge.

Matter support varies by model. The Verge reports that all of the discounted lamps except the Floor Lamp Basic support Matter, which lets them work with other major smart home systems.

How the models differ

The Table Lamp 2 is the compact option in the group, with Vasani describing it as suited to a desk or bedside table. The Table Lamp Classic is portable and uses a rechargeable battery instead of a power cord, making it easier to move between rooms or use outdoors in dry conditions.

The Verge cautions that the Table Lamp Classic is not weather-resistant. Vasani wrote that it should only be taken outside when rain is not a concern.

The two floor lamps are aimed at larger rooms, according to The Verge. The Floor Lamp Basic has a slim, minimal design and is the smaller of the two.

The Uplighter Floor Lamp is taller and includes three lighting zones that can be controlled separately, Vasani reported. That setup allows it to cast different colors onto walls and the ceiling at the same time.

Where the deals appear

The Verge’s price boxes showed the Table Lamp Classic at $56 through Amazon and Govee. The Floor Lamp was listed at $60 through Amazon, Best Buy and Govee, while the Uplighter Floor Lamp was listed at $126 through Amazon, Walmart and Govee.

Vasani wrote that she owns all of the discounted models except the portable Table Lamp Classic and often recommends them. The sale is part of The Verge’s broader Prime Day 2026 deals coverage.
