Avocados From Peru is partnering with Chipotle Mexican Grill on a two-day National Avocado Day offer aimed at app and web orders. The Chipotle avocado day 2026 promotion gives customers free chips and guacamole with an entrée purchase on July 31 and Aug. 1.

The deal is available only through the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com, where customers must enter the promotion code at checkout. Chipotle is stretching the restaurant chain’s National Avocado Day offer across two days for the first time.

The timing lines up with the summer selling window for Peruvian Hass avocados in the United States. Avocados From Peru said fresh fruit from Peru is in its peak season and available through U.S. supermarkets and restaurants.

How does the Chipotle avocado day 2026 offer work?

Customers who buy an entrée through Chipotle’s app or website on July 31 or Aug. 1 can receive free chips and guacamole by applying the National Avocado Day code at checkout. The offer is tied to digital ordering, so it is structured to push traffic through Chipotle’s owned ordering channels rather than in-store ordering alone.

National Avocado Day has become a recurring food-brand promotion around guacamole, avocado toast and related menu items. For restaurants, it offers a short seasonal hook for digital deals; for produce marketers, it gives avocados a high-visibility moment during summer shopping and dining.

Chipotle prepares its guacamole in restaurants using ripe Hass avocados, with the avocados mashed in small batches during the day. Stephanie Perdue, Chipotle’s senior vice president of brand marketing, described chips and guacamole as a signature pairing for the chain and said the company is expanding the promotion to two days this year.

Why Avocados From Peru is part of the promotion

Avocados From Peru is the promotional brand of the Peruvian Avocado Commission, a U.S.-based nonprofit operating under the USDA Federal Marketing Order program. The commission represents Peruvian avocado growers, exporters and U.S. importers and promotes fresh Hass avocados from Peru during the summer season.

Xavier Equihua, president and chief executive of the Peruvian Avocado Commission, said the Chipotle partnership connects the brand with a restaurant known for fresh guacamole and with consumers who already buy avocado-based items. He framed the promotion as part of the group’s effort to highlight Peruvian supply during its strongest export period.

The Chipotle tie-in is one piece of a broader 2026 summer campaign from Avocados From Peru. The campaign also includes retail promotions, sports marketing partnerships, consumer sweepstakes, digital advertising and public relations programs, all centered on encouraging U.S. avocado consumption while Peruvian avocados are in season.

The partnership puts a national restaurant chain behind a Peruvian avocado summer promotion at a moment when grocers and restaurants are competing for shoppers’ attention with limited-time food offers. For consumers, the practical details are narrow: the window runs two days, the order must be placed digitally and the free item is tied to an entrée purchase.
