Several Fortune 500 companies named new finance and technology chiefs in the week ended July 17, with Allstate, PVH, Ally Financial and Ulta Beauty filling key C-suite posts, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence. The changes put new executives over finance, data and technology functions at major companies in insurance, apparel, banking and retailing.

The moves were included in Fortune’s weekly tracking of senior executive changes at Fortune 500 companies. The roundup covered appointments announced from July 11 through July 17, 2026.

Finance posts shift at Allstate and PVH

Allstate, ranked No. 64 on the Fortune 500, appointed Christian “Chris” Lown as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective Aug. 3, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence. Lown most recently served as chief financial officer of CoStar Group.

Allstate said Lown will succeed Jess Merten, according to the report. Merten will remain with the insurer as president of Property Liability.

S&P Global Market Intelligence also noted that Lown previously served as chief financial officer of Freddie Mac, which ranks No. 33 on the Fortune 500. His appointment adds another senior finance role to a career that has included posts in housing finance, commercial real estate data and insurance.

PVH, the apparel company ranked No. 446, named Alexis Rollier as chief financial officer, effective in early September, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence. Rollier currently serves as global CFO and global chief operating officer of Sephora.

PVH’s appointment will end the interim CFO period for Melissa Stone, the company’s executive vice president of global financial planning and analysis, according to the report. Stone took on the interim CFO role in January after Zac Coughlin left PVH to join Sirius XM Holdings, ranked No. 463.

Ally and Ulta add technology leaders

Ally Financial, ranked No. 295, appointed Mark Mathewson as chief information and data officer, effective July 20, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence. Mathewson most recently served as divisional chief information officer for Capital One Financial’s retail and commercial banking units.

The report said Mathewson succeeds Sathish Muthukrishnan. Capital One Financial ranks No. 63 on the Fortune 500.

Ulta Beauty, ranked No. 355, appointed Kelly Garcia as chief technology officer, effective Aug. 31, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence. Garcia most recently served as executive vice president and chief technology officer at Domino’s Pizza.

Garcia succeeds Mike Maresca, whose title at Ulta was chief technology and transformation officer, according to the report. The change gives the beauty retailer a new executive responsible for its technology organization.

Across the week’s listed moves, the named roles were concentrated in finance, information, data and technology leadership. S&P Global Market Intelligence identified the companies involved as part of the Fortune 500, which ranks U.S. companies by revenue.
