WBNN founder Shawn Rae has announced a public Shawn Rae oneness initiative that links dialogue about conflict and division with humanitarian giving and anti-trafficking support. The announcement says the disaster caused heavy loss of life and displaced more than 2 million people, while drawing help from people and institutions across different regions and backgrounds.

A related visual reflection, “From Chains to a Field of Flowers: Freedom Rising,” addresses modern slavery, healing and freedom through images of buried chains, growth, flowers and transformation. The work sits alongside the music and giving pieces rather than as a separate campaign.
