SkyBlue Cinematix has signed a strategic partnership with Türkiye-based Moskitos Films to develop global co-productions that put brand integration into the commercial plan from the start. The SkyBlue Cinematix Moskitos Films deal matters because it links production capacity in Türkiye with a sponsorship, licensing and distribution model aimed at multiple markets.
The arrangement pairs Moskitos Films’ production and development work with SkyBlue Cinematix’s international commercial network. Projects under the partnership are expected to include brand-integration campaigns, anchor sponsors, category partners and licensing opportunities tied to entertainment properties.
SkyBlue Cinematix is the content and entertainment division of SkyBlue Media Group. Moskitos Films is a Türkiye-based production company with work across physical production, international co-productions and original content development.
What is the SkyBlue Cinematix Moskitos Films partnership?
The partnership creates a framework for films, series and other entertainment projects in which brands can be built into stories and extended beyond the screen through related campaigns and rights deals. In this model, brand integration means a sponsor or partner is connected to the content itself rather than limited to a separate advertisement around it.
Under the structure announced by the companies, SkyBlue Cinematix will lead commercial work and brand integration. That includes seeking anchor sponsors and category partners for individual projects, while Moskitos Films handles creative development and production.
Dato’ Manikandamurthy Velayoudam, group chairman of SkyBlue Group, said the companies plan to combine Moskitos Films’ creative work with SkyBlue’s distribution and commercial capabilities across seven markets. He framed the partnership as a way to produce content for international audiences while attaching suitable brands to those projects.
Moskitos Films said the deal is intended to help its storytelling reach beyond a single market and described SkyBlue Cinematix as aligned with its focus on scale and quality. The companies said the framework can be adjusted project by project, depending on distribution goals and partner commitments.
How the commercial model works
The partnership sits in the branded entertainment field, where studios, producers and marketers use content as a route to audiences that may be harder to reach through conventional advertising. For producers, early sponsor participation can help shape financing and distribution plans; for brands, the pitch is association with story worlds that can travel across markets.
SkyBlue Cinematix says its operations span South Korea, Malaysia, India, the UAE, Türkiye, Nigeria and the United States. The company also describes a wider on-ground sales network across more than 33 countries for connecting brands with film, series and entertainment opportunities.
Moskitos Films’ production footprint includes Türkiye, the MENA and GCC region, Russia and the CIS, Kosovo and Montenegro, according to the companies. Its listed credits include Kholop 3, Knyazhna Miloserdiya, Sniper: Ghost Shooter and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.
The deal gives both sides a clearer division of labor: Moskitos Films supplies production execution and creative development, while SkyBlue Cinematix builds the sponsorship and commercial layer around each project. The companies are positioning the brand integration co-productions as cross-market entertainment properties with room for licensing and distribution beyond the initial screen release.
