JML Trades has rebranded to put its plumbing, gas, air conditioning and roofing work under a single name. The move positions the Canberra and Queanbeyan business as a broader property-services provider for residential and commercial customers.
The company previously built its name around plumbing and gas work. Its new identity now covers specialist divisions for plumbing and gas, air conditioning and roofing, giving customers one entry point for maintenance, urgent repairs and planned property work.
Founded in 2016, the business has grown from a plumbing and gas operator into a multi-trade team serving Canberra, Queanbeyan and nearby areas. The rebrand places JML Trades in a field where customers often need several licensed trades to deal with connected property issues, such as water damage, roof leaks or heating and cooling faults.
Director and owner Josh Lewis said the new brand reflects the way the business now works across different trades. He said the aim is to reduce the need for customers to coordinate several contractors or repeat the same issue to different teams.
The company handles routine maintenance, emergency jobs and scheduled improvements. Its listed services include blocked drains, gas work, general plumbing, roofing, preventive maintenance plans and HVAC work.
JML Trades says it also holds capacity for urgent calls involving burst pipes, heating and cooling breakdowns and roof damage. For property owners, the combined model may be most relevant when a repair spans more than one trade or when a business wants fewer separate service providers on its books.
Lewis said the company is trying to keep communication practical during jobs, including explaining costs, unknowns and the reason for each stage of work. The company has framed the rebrand around advice, workmanship and clearer job management rather than a change in ownership.
Its service model includes upfront pricing, round-the-clock emergency response, a lifetime workmanship guarantee and a home health check, according to the business. Those features are presented by JML Trades as ways to help customers understand repair and maintenance choices before work proceeds.
The business says its team is licensed across the ACT and NSW and works under relevant environmental, workplace health and safety requirements. Its customer base includes tenants, homeowners and commercial property operators.
JML Trades is part Aboriginal-owned and registered with Supply Nation, the national directory for verified Indigenous businesses. It also supports the Superheroes ACT Camp Quality event, which raises money for children and families affected by cancer.
The rebrand brings together the company’s separate trade identities while keeping its service area focused on Canberra, Queanbeyan and surrounding regions. The company says its next focus is to continue building its plumbing, gas, air conditioning and roofing services in Canberra under the JML Trades name.
