Prime Day list spotlights budget gadgets from $12 to $26
The Verge’s roundup covers accessories and small tech purchases it says its staff has tested or bought, including chargers, smart-home gear and tools.

Prime Day has put a range of small tech accessories and tools on sale, with The Verge listing many recommended items between $12 and $25. The roundup gives deal hunters a lower-cost path into the sale, which often centers on more expensive gadgets.
The Verge’s Antonio G. Di Benedetto said the picks are products the site’s staff has tested or bought and considers worth the money. The site also disclosed that Vox Media may earn a commission when readers buy through its links.
Gaming, tracking and streaming picks
The Verge lists the 8BitDo Ultimate Mini Wired Controller for Xbox at $21 at Amazon, down from $35. The site says the wired controller works with Xbox consoles and Windows PCs, uses Hall effect sticks designed to resist drift, and has a smaller size suited to smaller hands.
Apple’s second-generation AirTag is listed at $24 at Amazon, compared with $29 at Apple. According to The Verge, the newer tracker can locate items more precisely and from farther away than the original model, and it has a louder speaker.
The Verge also highlights Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K Plus at $25, half off its listed $50 price at Amazon, Best Buy and Target. The site says the streaming stick supports 4K video, Wi-Fi 6, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision and HDR10 Plus.
Chargers and smart-home gear
Among charging accessories, The Verge points to Anker’s 30W Nano Charger at $12 on Amazon, down from $20. The site says the small USB-C wall charger has folding prongs and can charge phones and other compact devices quickly.
The Verge lists Ugreen’s four-port Nexode 65W charger at $25, reduced from $43. According to the site, the GaN charger has three USB-C ports, one USB-A port, a folding plug and a compact build for travel.
Smart-home options include the SwitchBot Bot at $20, down from $30, with The Verge saying it can be attached to devices to press physical buttons. The same product is also listed at SwitchBot for $20 with the code PDDAY33.
The Verge includes Kasa’s four-pack of smart Wi-Fi light bulbs at $26, down from $32, making it the lone highlighted item above the $25 mark. The site says the color-changing A19 bulbs work with Alexa and Google Home, need no hub and can run on schedules.
The Kasa Indoor Pan / Tilt Security Camera is listed at $21, down from $30. The Verge says the indoor camera offers motion tracking, person detection, two-way voice support, 360-degree horizontal viewing and 133-degree vertical viewing.
