Amazon’s Prime Day starts June 23, but several electronics and smart-home discounts have already surfaced. The early pricing matters for shoppers because some deals listed by The Verge do not require a Prime membership and include competing retailers such as Best Buy, Target and Walmart.
The Verge reported that Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 are down to $179 at Amazon and Best Buy, from an original price of $249. Walmart has a page showing a $169 sale price, according to The Verge, but the earbuds were out of stock there at publication time.
The AirPods Pro 3 are Apple’s latest noise-canceling earbuds. The Verge said they add stronger bass and active noise cancellation than the prior model, along with light fitness-tracking features.
Amazon and smart-home deals
Amazon-owned hardware is prominent in the early sale list. The Ring Battery Doorbell Plus second generation is listed at $120 at Amazon, with an Indoor Cam Plus included, according to The Verge. The same doorbell was listed at $180 at Best Buy and $190 at Ring.
The 2026 Ring doorbell has 2K video, 6x zoom and a removable battery, The Verge reported. It also supports Ring’s Retinal Vision feature, which uses AI to improve video quality.
Other Ring discounts include the Ring Alarm Pro home security kits. The Verge said the eight-piece system is $209.99, or $90 off, and includes a base station that also works as an eero 6 Wi-Fi router, plus a keypad, four contact sensors, a motion detector and a range extender. Both the eight-piece and 14-piece kits include a 30-day Ring Protect trial, with the plan costing $19.99 per month afterward.
Streaming, Wi-Fi and charging
The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Select is selling for $18 at Amazon, Best Buy and Target, The Verge reported. The Fire TV Soundbar Plus bundle, which includes a wireless subwoofer and two satellite speakers, is down to $379.99 from $489.99.
For home networking, the Eero Pro 6E tri-band router is listed at $150 for a single unit at Amazon, according to The Verge. The router supports the 6GHz Wi-Fi band, covers up to 2,000 square feet with one unit and can reach wired speeds up to 2.5Gbps.
The Verge also pointed to a Baseus AM52 10,000mAh power bank deal for its readers. With the code THEVERGECODE, the Qi2.2 battery is $42.99 at Amazon through June 30, compared with a $63.99 Prime member price.
