Disney+ will livestream Super Bowl LXI on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2027, adding a streaming option alongside ESPN and ABC broadcasts. For people searching for the Disney+ Super Bowl 2027 details, Disney and ESPN say all U.S. Disney+ subscribers will be able to watch the game, including the English-language presentation and the Spanish-language ESPN Deportes telecast.
The announcement gives Disney+ subscribers another way to watch ESPN’s first production of the NFL championship game. ESPN and Disney made the announcement with the NFL on Oct. 7.
How can Disney+ subscribers watch Super Bowl LXI?
Disney and ESPN say the traditional game broadcast on Disney+ will be the same presentation scheduled for ESPN and ABC. Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Lisa Salters and Laura Rutledge are set to work that telecast, according to ESPN’s press release.
The companies have not specified a required Disney+ plan, pricing, kickoff time, supported devices or replay availability in the announcement. A Disney+ promotional page advertises a Disney+, Hulu and ESPN Unlimited bundle, but does not say that the bundle is required to access the game.
When and where is Super Bowl LXI?
Super Bowl LXI is scheduled for Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, according to Variety. The game will mark the first time ESPN has produced a Super Bowl, Disney and ESPN said.
Disney+ is also scheduled to carry the game outside the United States in more than 55 markets. ESPN said those markets include Spanish-speaking Latin America, Brazil, the Caribbean, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. The company said its linear ESPN platforms will also air the Super Bowl in more than 130 countries and territories.
What NFL games will Disney+ show before the Super Bowl?
Disney+ will add two regular-season Monday Night Football games before the Super Bowl, Disney and ESPN said. The first is the Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, Oct. 26; the second game has yet to be announced.
Those games will remain available on ESPN, ABC and ESPN Deportes, with English- and Spanish-language streams on Disney+, according to ESPN. Disney+ is providing an additional outlet rather than replacing the scheduled television broadcasts.
In the U.S., ESPN said its app will continue to carry every Monday Night Football game and its Super Bowl programming. That coverage will include the ManningCast on ESPN2 as well as Super Bowl Sunday studio programming.
