SizzleTech has announced a patent-pending AI infrastructure platform called “SpeedOfLight!!!,” saying the technology has reached the tape-out stage. The company is pitching the architecture as a way to improve throughput, energy efficiency and scalability in high-performance computing environments without requiring customers to replace existing systems outright.
The announcement puts SizzleTech in the crowded field of companies trying to address the power and bandwidth pressure created by AI workloads. As models and data center demand grow, infrastructure providers are looking for ways to move data faster and use less energy across chips, systems and networks.
SpeedOfLight!!! is described as a hybrid adaptive computing and energy architecture that can sit alongside current and next-generation hardware, software, semiconductor, media and communications systems. SizzleTech says the platform is also being developed under the name “SpeedOfLight!!!” AI and QUANTUM “SpeedOfLight!!!” AI.
The company said the technology is covered by U.S. patent application No. 19/445,686. It characterizes the platform as an intelligent overlay for high-performance computing, aimed at constraints involving data movement, power use and infrastructure scale.
Potential uses cited by SizzleTech include AI acceleration, high-performance computing, communications infrastructure, media systems and energy-efficient compute environments. The company also said the architecture may be relevant to U.S. government, national security and infrastructure resilience priorities as demand for AI computing capacity increases.
Roger Francis, SizzleTech’s founder, said the company is trying to build a complementary architecture that helps existing systems handle greater demands from AI infrastructure. He said the goal is faster, more efficient and more scalable computing across a range of platforms.
The company is seeking technical review, strategic partnerships and commercial discussions with organizations in AI infrastructure, advanced computing, energy systems, communications and related fields. It also plans to enter discussions with the U.S. government tied to its broader technology and wealth-sharing ambitions, according to the announcement.
SizzleTech describes itself as a privately held technology development company with a small employee base and a focus on adaptive computing, AI infrastructure and energy-efficient system architecture. Its SpeedOfLight AI infrastructure platform remains positioned as a patent-pending effort rather than a commercially detailed product with disclosed customers, pricing or deployment timelines.
