PlayStation Pulse Elevate launch plans call for the wireless speakers to go on sale starting November 12, 2026, at $219.99 in the US. Preorders open September 1, giving PS5, PC and Mac players a new desktop-audio option after Sony announced the product in September 2025.

The Verge reported that US preorders start at 10 a.m. ET, while orders in other markets open at 10 a.m. local time. SoundGuys reported pricing of €219.99 in the EU, £199.99 in the UK and ¥37,980 in Japan.

When do PlayStation Pulse Elevate speakers launch?

The speakers are due to launch November 12, and PlayStation said preorders begin September 1. Engadget reported that orders will be available through PlayStation Direct and third-party retailers, while availability varies by finish and country.

  • Midnight Black: The Verge reported this version will be sold globally through PlayStation Direct and participating retailers.

  • White: The Verge reported PlayStation Direct availability in the US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Portugal. Sony plans to use select retailers in other regions, according to the report.

What can Pulse Elevate speakers connect to?

The speakers support PS5, PlayStation Portal, PC and Mac, according to The Verge. PlayStation’s product trailer also says they can connect by Bluetooth to compatible devices including TVs and smartphones; Engadget reported Bluetooth multipoint pairing.

Pulse Elevate is a portable pair of rechargeable wireless speakers rather than a fixed desktop-only speaker system. SoundGuys reported that the product includes planar magnetic drivers and built-in woofers, while The Verge reported charging docks are included.

For communications, The Verge said the speakers have an integrated microphone, and Engadget reported that microphone is intended to reduce background noise. The speakers also use PlayStation Link, which PlayStation describes in its trailer as low-latency, lossless wireless technology.

What specifications has Sony confirmed?

Sony says its planar magnetic drivers are designed to reproduce sound across the audible range with high accuracy, a manufacturer performance claim reported by The Verge and Engadget. Engadget also reported support for Tempest 3D AudioTech, a PlayStation Link USB-C adapter, adjustable speaker tilt, and settings and presets that can be changed on PS5 or PC.

Buyers still do not have a complete specification sheet or a rated battery-life figure. Engadget reported that Sony had said only that the rechargeable speakers would provide audio for “hours,” leaving battery performance and other technical details undisclosed ahead of release.
