Nordstrom Anniversary Sale includes discounts on beauty, clothes and luggage

Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale is underway, with discounts across apparel, beauty, fragrance, luggage and other categories, according to NBC Selected and Nordstrom’s sale page. For shoppers comparing seasonal deals, NBC Selected highlighted markdowns on brands including Kiehl’s, Away, Adidas, Birkenstock, Le Creuset and Lancôme.
NBC Selected said it independently chooses what to cover and may earn a commission when readers buy through its links. The outlet said many of the sale items it featured come from brands its staff has tested or uses.
Highlighted deals
One of the featured beauty discounts is Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream, listed by Nordstrom at $77, down from $115, according to NBC Selected. The same item was listed at $115 at Sephora and Ulta, NBC Selected said.
NBC Selected said the moisturizer ranked in the top 20 on its list of 100 moisturizers because of its hydration. Kiehl’s says the cream contains squalane and ceramides and can provide hydration for up to 72 hours, according to NBC Selected.
The sale also includes Away’s Bigger Flex Carry-On Suitcase for $257.99, reduced from $345, according to NBC Selected. Away lists the carry-on at $345, NBC Selected said.
The brand says the suitcase has a hard shell, an expandable zipper, 360-degree spinner wheels and a quick-release trolley handle, according to NBC Selected. Away also says it is built to fit six to 10 outfits.
For footwear, NBC Selected pointed to the Adidas Samba OG Sneaker, listed at Nordstrom for $69.99, down from $100. NBC Selected said Adidas lists the shoe at $100 and Dick’s Sporting Goods lists it at $99.99.
NBC Selected said the Samba has a padded collar, removable cushioned footbed and grippy sole. NBC Selected commerce editor Cory Fernandez said he owns the shoe and uses it as a casual sneaker.
