Luxe Treatment Center says it has cared for more than 1,000 patients since opening five years ago in Las Vegas. The milestone lands as Nevada faces a worsening overdose picture while most states are seeing deaths decline.

The center offers medical detox and residential inpatient treatment, a level of care aimed at people who need supervised withdrawal support and a structured setting after detox. For Southern Nevada, the announcement points to a treatment-capacity issue that has become more urgent as fentanyl keeps straining families, hospitals and first responders in Clark County.

According to Luxe, overdose deaths fell in 45 states over the past year, while Nevada was one of five states where they increased. In Clark County, fentanyl remains a driver of both fatal and non-fatal overdoses.

Founder Armen Tarkhanyan said the facility was created to reduce the need for Las Vegas families to send loved ones elsewhere for care. “Five years and more than 1,000 patients later, that gap is smaller,” Tarkhanyan said. “We built Luxe to keep people close to home while they get treatment, and that is exactly where our focus stays.”

The Las Vegas facility provides 24-hour medical supervision during detox, with medication support used to help manage withdrawal. After detox, patients can enter residential care, where licensed clinicians provide evidence-based and trauma-informed therapy.

The program also treats co-occurring mental health conditions during residential treatment, including anxiety, depression, PTSD and bipolar disorder. Luxe reports a 2:1 staff-to-client ratio, a staffing model it says is intended to allow closer clinical attention.

Residential addiction treatment is one part of a broader care system that can include outpatient therapy, medication-assisted treatment, recovery housing and peer support. Detox and inpatient beds can be especially important for people at higher medical risk during withdrawal or for those who need distance from daily triggers while stabilizing.

Most patients treated by the center come from the Las Vegas area, though Luxe says it also serves people from other parts of the country seeking residential care. The company describes its medical detox and residential inpatient care in Las Vegas as licensed addiction treatment delivered in a home-like setting.

Luxe is accredited by The Joint Commission and certified by LegitScript. As it starts its sixth year, the center says it plans to keep adding to its clinical team and facility to meet demand across the region.
