Farberware’s Pro Pump salad spinner is listed on Amazon for $17.99, a 33% discount from its $26.99 price, according to NBC Selected. The deal comes as NBC News has reported a rise in cyclosporiasis cases since early July 2026, putting more attention on washing lettuce, berries and other fresh produce.
NBC News reported that cyclosporiasis is a foodborne illness caused by the cyclospora parasite and can involve severe gastrointestinal symptoms, including explosive diarrhea. Health officials have linked the illness to produce contaminated by infected feces, with NBC Selected identifying strawberries, vegetables and leafy greens such as lettuce among the foods of concern.
