RTA Outdoor Living has completed a custom Rob Gronkowski outdoor kitchen at the former New England Patriots tight end’s Massachusetts home, the New Hampshire-based company announced Aug. 7. The project gives the company a high-profile New England installation built around separate cooking, serving and pizza-making areas.
The announcement was distributed as an announcement and says Gronkowski and Camille Kostek commissioned the backyard kitchen after renovating the home’s interior. They wanted a more permanent setup for grilling, cold drinks, pizza making and summer gatherings, according to the release.
What does Rob Gronkowski’s outdoor kitchen include?
The galley-style layout has a 12-foot cooking island, a separate 12-foot bar island and a hybrid pizza-oven station. The arrangement separates food preparation from serving and gathering space, with the pizza oven in its own area.
- The cooking island includes a 42-inch Coyote grill, 30-inch flat-top griddle, built-in refrigerator, storage, and integrated trash and recycling.
- The bar island has additional storage and drawers, a pull-out ice chest and counter space for serving.
- A separate matte-black station holds the hybrid pizza oven.
Gronkowski and Kostek chose a bright white plank-style exterior, Thunder White granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. The kitchen is located near the home’s fire pit, creating a single area for preparing and serving food during visits from family and friends.
For the project, the couple met with RTA designers virtually and reviewed a 3D visualization before approving the plan. RTA said an installer assembled the completed kitchen at the property in a matter of hours; Gronkowski said it was ready for grilling that evening.
That process shows how the company handled this specific custom outdoor kitchen service in Massachusetts: design decisions were made remotely before the on-site build. Kostek said the preview helped after the pair had completed an 11-month interior renovation.
Gronkowski also cited New England’s snow, rain and sleet as a reason the pair sought an outdoor installation that could remain in place through changing weather. His comments about the kitchen’s sturdiness and durability were part of RTA’s customer video testimony.
RTA vice president of design James King said the galley plan was intended to create distinct cooking, serving and gathering zones while fitting the existing backyard. The company plans to use the completed kitchen in further content featuring Gronkowski, including cooking, family entertaining and durability testing.
