MetalCloak on Aug. 11 launched its MetalCloak Tacoma 4G suspension lineup for 2025-and-newer fourth-generation Toyota Tacoma trucks. The three-package release gives owners distinct options for leveling, permanently loaded overland rigs and more demanding off-road use, with advertised prices starting at $3,598.
The aftermarket manufacturer is offering the Tacoma 4G Leveling Kit, the Rocklander Overland Suspension System and the Game-Changer Suspension System. MetalCloak says all three are available through its sales channels and authorized installer network.
Which MetalCloak Tacoma 4G suspension package fits each use?
Leveling Kit: Listed from $3,598, the A4700 package is aimed at daily-driven Tacomas. MetalCloak says it addresses the factory nose-down stance while retaining everyday road use.
Rocklander Overland System: Listed at $6,998 under product code A4702, this version is intended for trucks that carry permanent added equipment, such as roof-top tents, bed racks, bumpers or recovery gear. The company says it uses higher-capacity rear coils and damping tuned for loaded expedition use.
Game-Changer Suspension System: Priced at $6,998 and identified as A4701, MetalCloak positions this as its flagship Tacoma system for demanding off-road conditions.
All three packages use the company’s RockSport BLACK Edition technology, according to MetalCloak’s Tacoma product page. The company says the systems are bolt-on packages, though the expected changes in ride quality, load handling, wheel travel and trail performance are manufacturer claims rather than results from independent testing.
The Game-Changer has the most detailed published component list. It includes front remote-reservoir coilovers, rear remote-reservoir shocks, rear dual-rate coils, rear upper and lower control arms, an adjustable rear track bar, a differential-lock-wire extension and a rear brake-line extension. Buyers can choose fabricated or billet-aluminum front upper A-arms.
MetalCloak says the front coilovers use 2.5-inch aluminum shock bodies, remote reservoirs and eight-position compression adjustment. It also says its rear dual-rate coils are intended to work with matched shocks and its control arms, underscoring that the packages are configured as systems rather than a list of unrelated parts.
For Tacoma owners, the distinction comes down to intended use and budget. The leveling package is the entry point for those focused on road use and stance; Rocklander is tailored to sustained cargo weight; and the Game-Changer is MetalCloak’s trail-focused offering with a broader published component list. Details on the Tacoma 4G suspension packages are available from MetalCloak.
