USA Insulation of Fairfax County says it has reached a 5.0 Google rating after 14 consecutive five-star reviews, a local reputation marker it is using to promote attic insulation work in Alexandria and nearby Northern Virginia communities. The rating claim matters in a contractor category where homeowners often rely on online reviews before allowing crews into older houses.

The Fairfax County branch is part of the national USA Insulation network, which was founded in 1985. The local operation serves homeowners in Fairfax County and neighboring areas, including Alexandria, McLean, Reston and Annandale.

According to the company, the 14 Google reviews include five that were also verified through HomeAdvisor, with no ratings below five stars in that group. USA Insulation of Fairfax County said the milestone supports its claim that it is a leading attic insulation provider for Alexandria and the broader Northern Virginia region.

The announcement puts particular focus on older homes, a common issue in Alexandria. The company says many houses in the city were built before 1980, before building codes required minimum insulation levels, leaving some attics under-insulated or poorly ventilated for decades.

Attic insulation is one of the more routine home energy upgrades, but the condition of the attic can vary widely by age, previous repairs and ventilation. Poor coverage can contribute to uneven indoor temperatures and energy loss, especially in homes where insulation has settled or was never installed to current recommended depths.

USA Insulation of Fairfax County describes its attic service as beginning with an inspection of the current insulation type and depth. Crews then address missing or misaligned baffles so air can move through soffit vents, before adding blown-in insulation to reach the depth, or R-value, recommended for the region’s climate zone.

The company is positioning attic insulation services in Alexandria and Northern Virginia as a response to those older-home conditions. Its listed services also include injection wall foam, air sealing and crawl space work.

Customer comments cited by the business center on punctual crews, cleanup and comfort changes after the work. In one review cited by USA Insulation of Fairfax County, a homeowner identified as Paul M. wrote that his 40-year-old house felt more comfortable the day after the project.

Another homeowner, identified as Megan L., said crews sealed holes and added insulation, including in areas where no insulation was present. The company said its installers are trained and certified at USA Insulation’s headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio.
