Ariel Construction announced Aug. 4 that it had formed Ariel Roofing, a residential and commercial roofing and exteriors division set to launch first in Dallas–Fort Worth. The move extends the commercial design-build firm's work into a service it said had previously been handled by subcontractors.

The new unit is intended to bring roofing work under Ariel's management and warranty framework, according to the company’s GlobeNewswire announcement. Ariel said the division will offer roofing and exterior work for both homes and commercial properties in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

What does Ariel Roofing say it will offer in Dallas–Fort Worth?

The Dallas–Fort Worth roofing and exteriors division is being positioned for residential and commercial projects. Ariel said the unit will use the parent company’s project-management practices, schedule commitments and warranty standards.

Joseph Belleli, Ariel Construction’s founder and principal, said roofing had been a major cause of scheduling problems on commercial jobs because of scope and sequencing issues. The company said its new division is meant to make Ariel responsible for the roof alongside other construction work it manages.

What supports Ariel Construction’s review-volume claim?

Alongside the launch, Ariel said it had passed 1,000 verified five-star customer reviews and held the highest volume of such reviews among commercial design-build contractors serving New York, Florida and Texas. It said the total includes reviews on Google, the Better Business Bureau, Yelp, Thumbtack, Bark, Angi, Houzz, Porch, Nextdoor and Facebook.

Ariel also reported a 5.0 Google rating, five-star Yelp reviews, Thumbtack Top Pro status and Better Business Bureau accreditation with an A+ rating. The announcement did not provide an independent ranking, an audit of the review total or a methodology for the company’s use of “verified,” so the No. 1 comparison remains Ariel’s claim.

The company operates in New York, Florida and Texas, and its stated commercial portfolio includes work for BVLGARI, Cartier, Eataly, the New York City Subway and NJ Transit. Those client and project references were also included in the company’s announcement.

For Dallas–Fort Worth property owners and commercial operators, the expansion creates a separate Ariel-branded offering for roof and exterior projects. The announcement identified Dallas–Fort Worth as the initial market and did not establish launch availability elsewhere.
